Welcome to the D.U.M.P. CMS website. The goal of this site is to provide a place for Charlotte Mecklenburg residents to discuss the current state of the CMS school system and ways to reform it. While every discussion may not be positive, it is important that people have a place to voice their concerns and share their experiences. We encourage everyone to participate in the forums and be heard.

The county-wide deconsolidation petition is now available. All information submitted will remain private and will only be released to the appropriate parties for validation purposes.

More than a dozen apply for school board position (WBTV Charlotte)

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte Mecklenburg School (CMS) board members are encouraged more than a dozen people have applied to fill the vacant District two school board seat. Some of the them have already reached out to board members for one on ones.
