Is there any information available as to how our taxes would be affected if we seceded from the CMS school district?

It might be of interest to look at Mooresville Graded School System for how a new Northern Mecklenburg County School System might look; MGSS is located in Iredell County, but operated separately from Iredell-Statesville School System. MGSS levies its own school taxes on those in the district.
